“ Dakota East Side Ice House is an absolute gem! The drinks are strong and well-crafted, the food is seriously delicious, and the atmosphere is fun, lively, and full of good vibes. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back with friends, enjoy some great music, and feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink or a full night out, this spot delivers every time! ”
“ This is the type of place Texans dream of. Laid back, friendly, great food, good beer. Personally, the best burger I've had under 20 in the city especially because it comes with a fresh salad and chips without additional . ”
“ Stopped in while in town - bartendar was cool af. He didnt know what kind of jam there was but when I found out it was a jazz jam it really fueled the question of, "what is jazz?" I appreciated that. ”
“ This restaurant was a strange experience because of many reasons. The food to start off. I got the burger, pepperoni, pizza, wings, and mac & cheese. The burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had the chips that came with it were good too. The mac & cheese was also one of the best I’ve ever tried as well. Unfortunately the wings were the worst I’ve ever tried. I’m not sure how they cook it, but I just don’t think it’s my preferred style. The pizza was just a normal little pizza nothing to complain about. Just wish they came with ranch. The service was my only complaint here as the man at the register gave me some attitude when my college first got there. I understand 30 hungry students isn’t the best thing to see but overall I understand as I work in the food business too. So I’m not deducting points for it at all. In the end our college loved this place and would go back again someday. ”
“ One of my favorite local spots. Staff is always attentive and friendly, food is well above par. Highly recommend coming to the Jazz Jams on Thursday nights. Such a cool spot and experience not found many other places. Parking can be a little rough, but that’s just downtown. ”
“ Food on point (gumbo is a must try when they have it), service is amazing. Everyone is fun and sweet and personable. Atmosphere was chill and energetic, mixed crowd which I love. The music on Friday, Brixz, is a must see. Going back next weekend. ”
“ I've traveled to San Antonio many times. In the spirit of the Texas Restaurant Association..."Eat local, Eat often" This is definitely a local favorite spot found a little bit away from the "been-there-done-that" Riverwalk area. This eclectic staple has everything needed to enjoy an exciting dining experience. My initial impression was hole in the wall small bar vibe followed by a friendly face at the bar. The bartender quickly greeted us and handed us a couple menus and said "please have a seat and come back to me when you're ready to order". The menu was simple but full of surprises to a classic menu. For example, they had a hotdog that screamed TexMex meets Chicago. The layed back bar vibe was accompanied by an amazing small live performance. A must stop if you are in the downtown/East San Antonio area. ”
“ Great place for a cold drink and/or a bite to eat. Has an eclectic decor but nice. Service was excellent and they have seating inside and outside. Relaxing place to enjoy music as they have both an indoor and outdoor stage. ”
